Vantaggi
* The program is really good. The managers actively try to make sure the projects match the needs of the communities * ZOA's dedication to the communities it works with is seen in the good work they do in the field and the reviews they get from 'beneficiaries'. * The managers are really committed to their work, their programs and their staff * The office culture is encouraging and light
Svantaggi
* Compensation is low. That's ok for expats because most of the people at ZOA are there to work not to make money, but the wages given to the lowest paid staff is not enough to get them out of poverty. It was a shame to see that ZOA's own staff were living in impoverished conditions while they were out helping others. * No checks or balances to keep hierarchical personalities from exploiting less paid staff.
