Work life balance is a challenge at ZS. There are a lot of work hours like other consulting firms. However, an added challenge is that most offices are not centrally located within cities, so most people commute at least 1 hour each way. Meanwhile, many folks are staffed on global projects so finding the time to commute to the office without impacting project work is tough Professional development is also lacking at ZS. They just implemented a new review system where you can see where you rank in aggregate to your peers. Most large companies have had something like this in place for years
