Recruiting cannot keep up with growth and sales refuse to slow down with new clients. As a result required allocations for new clients are filled up with people from existing teams, thus stretching everything thin. This means that usually new projects are started prematurely and without coherent plan, requiring a lot of compromises to be made early on.
There's also an issue of seniority being slowly drained as senior staff that leave are often replaced by juniors.
Salaries are on lower-end of the spectrum.
