Where do I start? 1) They have no Graduate Trainee programs to train fresh graduates to assert mgt roles and better pay like other banks do. You have to work as a contract staff in trivial roles, earning peanuts for several years before they convert you as a staff. 2) Zenith bank pays one of the lowest salaries (esp for non-mgt) in the banking industry. 3) There is little or no potential for learning and career growth or progression. 4) There is no feeling of oneness and sense of belonging as company policies and work culture always reminds u that you are at the lower end of the ladder as a junior staff while the senior staff are at the top. So u are not in their clique. 5) They are always recruiting which is a testament to their high labor turnover rate. 6) Don't get me started with the staff welfare package cos there's none (esp for junior staff). So if you are working and mistakenly slump at work. You are on your own. 7) Promotion especially for those who are not in marketing dept is like waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ even if u work ur butt out. And there are no clear indices for that. 8) Junior/contract staff (esp those who are not in marketing dept) are seen as annoying pests who are contributing little or nothing to the bottom-line .
