Il prodotto su cui lavorare è estremamente datato e la direzione crede nel 'perché cambiare se funziona,' senza lasciare spazio a nessun dialogo a riguardo. Non esiste alcuna metodologia agile, solo ticket, e la direzione mette pressione venendo costantemente alla tua scrivania, chiedendo come procede il lavoro e quanto tempo ci vorrà per finirlo. Inoltre, il tono molto aggressivo della direzione mette a disagio chiunque debba interagire con loro. Suggerire qualcosa di nuovo o offrire aiuto è visto come un fastidio. Il lavoro da remoto è considerato un' 'emergenza' e nei mesi in cui sono stato lì non è mai stato menzionato, costringendomi a lavorare in ufficio ogni giorno, nonostante il mio contratto prevedesse due giorni di lavoro da remoto. Durante il mio periodo lì, mi è stato assegnato un compito e poi sono stato licenziato dopo averlo completato. Quindi, come suggerisce il titolo, mi sono sentito come uno strumento da usare e poi gettare via una volta terminato il lavoro. --- The product I worked on is extremely outdated, and management believes in 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it,' leaving no room for any discussion on the matter. There is no agile methodology, only tickets, and management constantly pressures you by coming to your desk, asking how the work is progressing and how long it will take to finish. Moreover, their aggressive tone makes interacting with them very uncomfortable. Suggesting something new or offering help is seen as a nuisance. Remote work is considered an 'emergency,' and during the months I was there, it was never mentioned, forcing me to work in the office every day, despite my contract allowing for two days of remote work. During my time there, I was assigned a task and then fired after completing it. So, as the title suggests, I felt like a tool to be used and then thrown away once the job was done.

Everything comes down to leadership. The company keeps making poor decisions without any real strategy, and there’s no clear plan for the future. You can see it in the products, which feel outdated and can’t keep up with the competition. Clients are leaving, and some major ones aren’t renewing their contracts. Frustration is high across the board. The stock has dropped by about half over the past year, which says a lot about where things stand. The company is declining fast, and there’s no clear sign of a turnaround. Things feel very unstable. If you’re thinking about joining, make sure to do your research. Problems at the top are having a bigger impact on daily work, product direction, and job security than most people realize.
