Svantaggi
bswift is a broken company. For a tech startup, it’s far from innovative... It grew too quickly for its own good and, while two years ago I loved it, i would never go back knowing now what I didn’t know then. If I had to describe it in three words, I would say the culture at bswift is forced, inauthentic and overworked. They try to make it be a great place to be with selling points like “free coffee” and “happy hours,” but to me, that’s like putting Microsoft Office on your resume these days... it’s not a perk, it’s standard. Instead of paying employees what they deserve, they spend tens of thousands of dollars (literally) on ridiculous “bFun” events each month to force a phony “fun and happy” environment upon employees. Senior leadership is lazy, uninformed and poor at communicating. They don’t know what’s going under their nose and rely on top performers to do their jobs for them... and then take credit for all that work they didn’t do. Strategies are nonexistent, nobody is aligned on the same goal and everyone operates in a bubble. On top of that, almost every team is missing members (so expect to pick up work that shouldn’t be yours and don’t expect it to ever go away). It wasn’t until I left and went to a respectable organization that I knew such chaos wasn’t actually a necessary part of working at a startup. I wouldn’t wish the horror of bswift upon anyone I know, including my enemies. Save yourself the trouble and wait until you find a company that values your talent and will pay and treat you fairly like you deserve.
