Where do I start… There is no job security, transparency and equality, those are probably the most important. Diversity is not there either, neither in race nor gender, the management are almost all white males. It is the first time I saw people not passing probation period for no big reason. People go through complicated interview process, move from other countries, leave stable employers - all to be thrown away after the first small mistakes they have made (with no or little feedback prior). And if you stay - prepare to be broken and molded into what the company wants you to be, your previous expertise and ideas do not matter much. The company operates with “ownerships” and it gives the illusion that you have some influence on the processes, but in reality it’s all micromanaged to the tiniest detail and the CEO is involved into pretty much everything as well. And if he does not like color yellow, then nothing can be yellow etc etc Working overtime is normal and being looked at as a good performance, and the super inflexible working hours of 9 to 18 are there to reinforce it. This is not a place for people who want to have any life outside of work. Be ready to receive work related messages at any time of day and night and receive feedback in such forms that you have never received before. The work itself is a pure chaos and management will try to stress the hell out of you at every step, expect no assistance whatsoever while there are ridiculous expectations for a (less than) average salary. There is always someone coughing their lungs out at the office, as you only get 70% of your pay if you call in sick, so people think they cannot afford it. All the company events are also happening after working hours or on the weekend, they took the “work family” thing to the next level really. Hybrid model is a joke - for the first 3 months you have to be in the office every single day for no good reason, working from abroad is complicated too. The office looks like a student dorm with mess everywhere, mice and furniture falling apart. There are lunches and dinners for a small fee, but it’s super basic and you will see couscous in your nightmares afterwards + occasionally you will find expired drinks and condiments in the fridge that no one removes.
