Vantaggi

Decent salary and benefits Direct managers and coworkers are great

Svantaggi

Pretty much echoing what others say: There's a toxic workplace fostered by the upper management that stems from their own toxic behavior or them turning a blind eye to their "top players" running rampant being completely toxic to other employees. Don't expect to be able to really do anything unless it goes through them and if they disagree with you, prepare to be berated for your opinion and ultimately told to "fall in line". If you're content with just doing as your told then this job will be fine, otherwise be prepared to lose all creative freedom and to be yelled at for not doing things their way. None of the poor behavior is corrected at all and there's no accountability whatsoever. I've heard and seen plenty of behavior that should be flagged by HR but it goes by unchecked. The main office is pretty much a frat culture with alcohol bottles all over their floor for when they want to party, that's when all the inappropriate office politics really shine. In terms of growth, there is none. It seems that most of the promotions happen if it's approved by the toxic management, which unless you're in their inner circle is slim. In all the years I've worked here I haven't seen any sort of development plan, because there is none. When asked about it every year during review, it gets pushed to the backburners because the company would rather spend time delivering to clients instead of caring about their employees and their growth. Speaking of delivering to clients: upper managment loves to keep promising the moon to prospective/current clients while not hiring more resources so we just end up getting overworked. I know a good share of us have to be complaining about all these problems, the company seems to sort of just brush it all off. Again in all the years I've worked here I've seen no improvements on the working conditions and behaviors, but hey: we keep getting "Best Workplace" awards so maybe we're all wrong. It's honestly not everyone in upper management and most of the employees are great, unfortunately it's just a couple of bad eggs that have a lot of power that create this problem for everyone else.

Vantaggi

The benefits are great and some coworker are amazing.

Svantaggi

• Extremely high turnover: During my tenure of over four years, the team experienced approximately 87% turnover, largely due to management challenges and lack of stability. • Lack of leadership consistency: I had four different managers within less than two years, which made it difficult to maintain continuity in expectations, professional development, and long-term career planning. • Limited advancement opportunities despite strong performance: Although promotions were repeatedly discussed during performance reviews, they never materialized. At the same time, my workload continued to increase significantly without appropriate title or compensation adjustments. • Unsustainable workload expectations: By the time I left the company, I was managing 17 projects simultaneously, including two new start-ups with extremely accelerated timelines. The typical implementation timeline for a single start-up is 8–12 weeks, yet these were expected to launch within 2–3 weeks, creating unrealistic expectations. • Excessive work hours and burnout: Due to the workload and compressed timelines, I was consistently working 60–70 hour weeks, leading to significant stress and burnout. • Management culture concerns: The management style I experienced was often unprofessional and included frequent negative discussions about colleagues during one-on-one meetings, which created a difficult and uncomfortable work environment. • Lack of meaningful recognition or compensation: Despite consistently taking on additional responsibilities and high project loads, recognition was often minimal and symbolic rather than aligned with the level of work being performed. They do not pay the going rate and are much lower!
