Vantaggi

flexible schedule, good benefits...that's about it. I did make some friends at the organization

Svantaggi

Poor Management and Leadership. Leadership is not held accountable from anywhere so there is rampant poor treatment of lower staff and condescending behavior. If you have an opinion other than one held by leadership it is not necessarily well received. Employees are not valued to their true potential hindering a learning and cooperative environment. There is no forward strategic thinking more just putting band-aids over problems when they arise. Everything seems to be a scramble or just throwing things up against the walls to see if they stick. No involvement from the board to help with leadership accountability or even just the general direction of the company. There has truly been a loss of mission.

Vantaggi

Small company with fun team. Tons of opportunity to work on interesting projects and get visibility with big companies . If you are a self-starter and interested in health IT you will do great here. If you hate ambiguity and need lots of supervision, go somewhere else.

Svantaggi

It is a nonprofit, so little resources for salary increases, but benefits are good.

Vantaggi

None that I can think of.

Svantaggi

Incredibly toxic environment. Rare to see as much obvious gaslighting and nastiness in such a small office. Interestingly, a telehealth advocacy group that didn’t follow COVID protocols and and more amazingly - disability protections and accommodation under the ADA “did not apply” to them (I guess as a smaller organization).
