I've been with eLynx for a decade. The biggest positive aspect of this company is that they reward people who take initiative. I started at the bottom of the ladder, and right from the beginning I was able to ask questions, participate in important brainstorming conversations, and have my ideas heard by all members of the team. When I had good ideas for meaningful projects or improvements, those ideas were implemented, and people gave me credit for them. When my ideas needed work, we all kicked them around together to come up with the best approach. Throughout the years, I have never been made to feel that I should keep quiet and let the "higher ups" make all the decisions. On the contrary, those senior members of the team have thanked me for jumping in. This sense of true teamwork has inspired me to consistently take on more projects, ask for more responsibility, and push myself to be the best team member I can be. The feedback loop of hard work leading to positive praise, leading to more hard work, has made eLynx the most satisfying company I've worked for.

I wouldn't call this a "con", but rather a warning: eLynx is a company that expects excellence. They want people who will try to go above and beyond their job title. They want people who are excited to improve in all aspects of their professional lives, from public speaking, to professionalism, to teamwork, and individual job responsibilities. In short, they expect everyone to grow over time. The flip side of that is little tolerance for mediocrity. People who have joined our team looking to punch a clock have not integrated well. If you are not constantly seeking refinement and improvement, you may get left behind. This is a natural consequence of building a top tier team capable of changing the oil and gas industry forever.
