Vantaggi

Great opportunity to meet other business owners and networking

Svantaggi

1) The owner Sandra is THE most coldest woman I have ever worked for. She only greets those she deems as important i.e. upper management. 2) They are ALL about the money, no sincerity at all. 3) The overwork and underpay/don't pay their employees on a constant basis. 4) There is NO such thing as lifting as you climb here, trust me it's only that way when you contribute a certain financial amount. 5) Anything important goes right under the rug and they absolutely refuse to address it in the open. 6) It's like a revolving door for the Accounting, IT and Member Service Specialists...although these departments put in the most work, they are treated like the lowly and paid below industry standards. 7) They initially try to act pleasant, but give it a month or two and their true regard for you comes out. They could care less about you putting in hard work and they really don't care for your home life in regards to having a family.

1) Sandra Yancey is loved by Managing Directors, Members and Staff. She has been awarded as a CNN American Hero. Work life can be intense in a small, dynamic company but she is not cold. 2) Teamwork to make the dream work through respect, cooperation and accountability. 3) It is illegal not to pay an employee. All records indicate (via audits) that all employees of eWomenNetwork have been paid on time based on their employment contract. 4) Revenues come from membership and services. Managing Directors and our website bring in memberships. All other services are sold by Sandra and Kym Yancey. No other employee is required to sale or provide financially for the company. The employees of eWomenNetwork serve our Managing Directors and Members as well as external services. Every employment contract states this. 5) Respect and transparent communication guided by the rule of good intention is one of our values. Anything brought up to the executive management team is addressed. 6) We have very long lasting employees ... more so than most small companies. There are certain positions that turn over quicker than others primarily because there are salary maximums to positions. 7) Work life balance is important. As a small company, roles can sometimes overlap to help the team. Employees who request exception for family situations have been acknowledged and flexibility has been granted. As for you Advice to Management: 1) Sandra Yancey wears rollers to staff meetings. She kicks her shoes off and helps prepare for conference. She tears up with employees move on to new jobs because we all work so close together. Kym Yancey has the worst goofy jokes ever as well as constant puns. They are laid back most of the time. 2) All positions require an SOP. It is the responsibility of the person in the position to update the SOP's. Most staff always "jump in" to help any new person. 3) There is no company anywhere that has a perfect work environment where all employees get along and love working with each other. Personalities sometimes conflict. We work hard to resolve issues. 4) When an employee has a review, what they would rather be doing is taken into consideration and many instances can be proven where jobs were shuffled to accommodate someone who would rather be doing something else. This is a small company and there are not a lot of positions to "move into". 5) Incentives are subjective and it's hard to please everyone. Your feelings are noted. 6) All new employees sign an employee contract that states requirements for our Annual Conference. It is noted and everyone knows that Conference is our superbowl and employees are expected to work overtime one month prior to conference and not take vacation. Most employees are salary and those who are not, only work longer hours if overtime is approved. Salary employees receive an extra day off after Conference on a designated day. 7) See response above. 8) We are sorry you felt there was an environment of degradation. It isn't ever the intent of eWomenNetwork. We want to always be a professional organization that fosters integrity, honesty and trust. 9) Services needed by the company are offered along with a payment price. Contractors can accept or deny the proposed work along with the amount paid. Most companies do their best to keep cost in check. 10) eWomenNetwork is one of the lowest priced Conferences of it's size in the nation. We will not apologize for the exceptional Conference we provide for those who want to learn and expand their business. All forms filled out to attend Conference state there is no refunds however, the eWomenNetwork does allow someone who has paid and cannot attend to roll over their payment to the following year one time. 11) It is not expected that extra time be devoted to eWomenNetwork after 5:30 pm except 30 days before Conference. If an employee works longer hours, it is their choice and if they do not feel that it is their choice, a conversation needs to take place regarding the work load and time management.

Vantaggi

eWomenNetwork is the real deal when it comes to supporting women in business. The community builds genuine, lasting relationships -75% of my business referrals have come directly through the eWN network, which speaks for itself. The organization operates with exceptional integrity at every level, from member interactions to corporate leadership. There is a clear, compelling mission (helping one million women each achieve one million dollars in annual revenue) that creates alignment and purpose throughout everything they do. As both a former Managing Director and now in a corporate role - though contract, I've seen the infrastructure, the strategy, and the people - all of it is built to actually deliver results, not just look good on a website.

Svantaggi

The organization is growing rapidly, which means systems and processes are constantly evolving to keep up with scale. If you thrive in a fully structured, highly predictable environment, that pace of change can be a stretch, and it may not be for you. This is a high-expectation culture - the mission is big and the bar is high, which is energizing for the right person but may not suit everyone.

Vantaggi

I love the environment here. The owners really care for the team and recently they’ve shifted the company culture and really got us involved in the companies growth trajectory which makes it exciting to work here and me excited for my growth too! I’m definitely never bored and I like the fast paced energy in the office

Svantaggi

There is never downtime. The company demands a lot from us. But we know what we are working towards
