Vantaggi

The training provided is intense, really intense. More full-on than I was expecting. However, the trainers are supportive and there is always someone you can go to throughout your training. The examinations are thorough but harder than I thought they would be. Fail more than 2 of these exams and you're out! And the pass mark isn't a low one either. The wage is good, with the chances to up your monthly income by working longer shifts and changing your standbys for flights, your short flights for long ones, and your long ones for XL/nightstops! There is more to this job that meets the eye but I thoroughly enjoyed working for eJ! Lots of opportunities for personal growth e.g chance to learn languages with their own online system. Perks include a great lifestyle for those who enjoy not having a 9-5 mon - fri job, very good staff travel rates which include many hotels. You can very easily work up to cabin manager in little over a year.

Svantaggi

It can be hard to adjust to the work-life balance with this sort of career. The standbys at home you don't get paid for, and your roster can be changed very last minute. I can't remember most of the policies as I haven't worked there for over half a year, but try not to be ill!!!!

Vantaggi

-Competitive pay and benefits for Malta aviation industry. -Skilled colleagues and opportunities for technical learning.

Svantaggi

-Serious reports of bullying, harassment, and neglect of staff mental health were escalated to top management, but rarely result in action. -The SUSO (Speak Up Speak Out) system does not work as advertised; staff complaints raised through SUSO are ignored or lead to retaliation, not resolution. -EasyJet’s “zero tolerance” policy on discrimination, bullying, and harassment is not upheld—investigations are slow, lack follow-through, and rarely result in change. -Evidence of disability discrimination at the highest levels has been presented; these concerns are dismissed or left unaddressed by senior management. -Employees who report problems or ask for reasonable adjustments face career setbacks and poor treatment. -Overall, morale is very low among those affected by discrimination or who have used internal reporting channels.
