Corporate has now made it so BTL's are REQUIRED to work a minimum of 42 hours a week with no paid overtime. Isn't that illegal?! During holiday, we are required to work 45 hours a week. Communication with home office is a mess. Payroll hours are constantly changing last minute because of changing their minds for when we should do markdowns. They say our pay is competitive but it's actually a joke. Stylists: $8 an hour Sales Leads: $9 an hour Assistant Managers: $12-$15 depending on your stores tier. The amount of work and responsibility they have for that pay is ridiculous. Go to another retailer where you're paid more. The promise is a joke. The fact that every conference call and rally call we have is all about the promise behaviors just proves the fact that it isn't being done across the board. It's pushy and customers do not respond well to it. Especially in mall locations. BTL's have no say in their so called "business" anymore. DTL's will say that it's your store but in reality it isn't. When I first started with this company, we had less than 400 boutiques nationwide. Now we just reached 700. Stop over saturating the market! There's a reason stores are dropping tiers! The fact that in my district alone, on Black Friday last year 2016, we have a total of 11 stores. Only 4/11 made their goal on BLACK FRIDAY.
