Vantaggi
You work remotely - if that's even considered to be a pro here. You can make a decent amount of money but at the expense of any social life you have.
Svantaggi
Everything imaginable. Base salary is 36k draw, so has to be paid back by producing. They deduct $300 from each paycheck to pay for "tools." And if you're lucky, you start at 30% commission. Ridiculously high fee with a ridiculously low guarantee period (depending on the industry), so good luck getting clients when every single competitor charges lower fees and offers longer guaranteed periods. But if you don't get any new clients, it's because you're not working hard enough. They will throw you into a state drawn from a hat, while other recruiters are praised because they produce maybe $400k across half of the U.S. So there is no room for growth. They are greedy and they have favorites. They do not care about you whatsoever. You could tell them your house burned down and they'd say "Take your mind off it by drowning yourself in phone calls and sifting through 8,000 resumes." They expect you to work all night every night. Bunch of hypocrites.
