1. The salary for my position was good enough, although they siphon away a part of it every month as "retention" which you would never get back if you leave before spending 14 months there. 2. You can ignore them after working hours.

1. Basically everything else. You have no work life balance because you'd be working on 24/7, 10 hour long shifts (which is unusually long as most corporates have moved to 9 working hours), with rotational shifts and days off. 2. You don't get any national holidays, not even on Independence or Republic day. You are expected to come to work on those days if you have a shift. 3. I don't know about other processes, but in mine (Project One), we didn't have any proper way to contact HR directly. You were expected to talk to your supervisor for everything. 4. There's no concept of sick leaves. If you get sick, you have to apply for CLs afterwards. If you get seriously ill and need to take a long leave, there's no PTO against medical report. Essentially, once you have run out of CLs and ELs, all leaves going forward will be unpaid, i.e. LWPs. 5. Any job on the phone is going to be extremely monotonous with very little hope of work diversity. Expect to clock in and do the exact same thing every day for months, while being abused and harassed by the customers and micromanaged to the second by your supervisors. Although this is to be expected in a BPO environment. There are other things that can be pointed out, like the extremely poor, unempathetic management, lack of basic amenities like clean cafeterias, coffee machines and microwaves, filthy washrooms with chewing tobacco stains etc. Every corner of the campus is a smoking den, there's trash everywhere. All in all, an entirely horrible experience.
