The company is well organized: lesson planners, schedulers, IT, and clients all work together quite nicely. It's amazing how one can teach around the world in this way. The schedule is so flexible and the pay is pretty good. The bonus system is a pretty smart way to give employees a positive incentive to do better. What I like most however is how courteous the employers and the clients are. I usually do not begin or end the job in a bad mood, simply because of this respectful attitude. I am not the kind of person to take advantage of that. On the contrary, it makes me want to put forth more effort towards excellence in the quality of the work.

I am not sure the best way to deal with this (and maybe there are some underlying issues I am unaware of), but one disappointment for me is the censorship about discussing religion and politics. These topics are at times quite integrated in language and culture, and can be difficult (if not impossible) to avoid completely. In my opinion, avoiding these topics altogether is unfortunate, and it creates a significant gap in language learning and education in general.

Due to cultural differences, our clients are more sensitive to controversial topics. We'd like to focus our sessions on enjoy the English language.
