Years of watching this team operate as a textbook example of institutional dysfunction and I am done pretending otherwise.
The team culture is openly toxic. Not "needs improvement" toxic — actively hostile, demoralising, and damaging to your mental health. Management is fully aware. They have always been fully aware. They choose to do nothing, every single time, because protecting the status quo matters more than protecting their people.
HR is not your friend here. Escalate and watch nothing happen. The reform language iCare loves to parade externally is meaningless theatre — at the ground level, toxic behaviour is tolerated, rewarded even, while the people suffering the consequences are left to quietly burn out.
Career growth does not exist in this team. It is not slow — it is nonexistent. Years in and I have nothing to show for it professionally. Workloads are deliberately crushing, deadlines are relentless, and the result is you have no time, no energy, and no capacity to develop yourself or find a way out. Whether that is by design or incompetence barely matters — the outcome is the same.
This place will cost you years of your career and your mental health. No salary is worth it.
