Weak leadership at the very top I found this company to be homogenous in gender, race, religion, and thought. This is not a blind spot - I went to the board to let them know I think it is an issue and that it is something only company leadership can solve, but that I was willing to help them work on a solution. I left the meeting extremely disappointed with their lack of acknowledgement and action, and nothing was done. The 'culture' in my experience on the sales team is white, christian, male and conservative and it took a lot of energy for me to be there. I also found the drinking culture to be a known issue here that for some reason can't be fixed? In my time there, there was not a sales meeting without leadership and most of the almost all male team getting wasted and forcing you to stay out and watch them cary on late into the night.
