Vantaggi
the global team is fantastic—everyone is warm, supportive, and always willing to help. The same cannot be said for the China team.
Svantaggi
During my time at impact.com, I went through a great deal. I endured so-called “management” micromanagement and emotional manipulation (PUA), and constantly had to fight to secure my legally entitled time off. While I eventually got the proper leave, the process involved countless arguments and tears, wasting an enormous amount of my time and energy. For a company that claims to be moving fast, management should focus on helping the team deliver projects and grow, instead of forcing employees to sit through pointless “micromanagement success” workshops. My manager did not respect individual personalities, showed little genuine care for the company’s development, and often failed to keep their promises. In a relatively small team of just a few dozen people, so much energy was spent on pleasing higher-ups and fixing problems created by poor decisions. Personally, this is not a great place to work. You grow very slowly professionally, while having to invest heavily in navigating internal politics and protecting your mental health.
