Mageba is just a material supplier, not a contractor or subcontractor that is involved in the engineering part of the projects other than expansion joints and structural bearings. Do not be fooled by the number of employees or how many offices they have around the world, because this company is financially not in good position and keeps losing money. Salaries are way below the industry average, and there is a constant pressure by the management. There is so much micromanagement and it is run like a small family business rather than a corporate mentality. Even if you are done with your daily tasks, just because they are paying you, you have to stay in the office from 9am to 7pm or sometimes even until 8pm. That is 10-11 hours a day with no overtime pay!

Coworkers were from diverse backgrounds

- Company goes through more cycles of boom and bust than the biggest bubbles of the stock market. One year they are on a hiring spree, next year on a firing spree. Company went from 'we absolutely need a factory to starting a factory to closing it and saying we don't need a factory (and losing millions in that process). - people come and go at this company, faster than the busiest airport of the world. - CEO micromanages all employees more than Kim Jong un micromanages N.Korea. Instead of acknowledging and addressing that, the CEO keeps blaming former employees for company's failings (most of which barely stayed a meaningful amount of time). Its pretty much my way or highway with him. - CEO only promotes people when he needs it (has no other option).
