I have been working as a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) for several years, and my experience has been disappointing. The company’s lack of vision and poor management practices make it one of the worst places to work, especially in the R&D department. Here are the key issues I’ve observed during my time here: 1️⃣ No Job Security – Constant Fear of Layoffs I have witnessed multiple rounds of layoffs during my tenure. There is no courtesy or empathy shown towards employees during these layoffs. People are let go without proper reasoning or consideration for their contributions. No one is safe, and it always feels like a knife is hanging over your neck, waiting to fall at any moment. 2️⃣ Directionless Leadership – Lack of Vision The company has no clear roadmap or vision for its products. After spending years building products, I’ve seen entire projects scrapped, wasting the time and effort of employees. The R&D team lacks innovation, and decision-making is chaotic. 3️⃣ Ineffective and Arrogant Architects The US architects and senior management act like they know everything, but in reality, they are out of touch with the core technical challenges. Their arrogance stifles progress, and they often make poor decisions that derail projects. 4️⃣ Micro-Management and Toxic Culture The company has a toxic culture of micro-management. Employees are constantly monitored, which kills creativity and morale. There is no trust in the employees' abilities, and management interferes unnecessarily at every step. 🚩 If you are considering joining this company, think twice. Be prepared for poor management practices, constant layoffs, and zero job security. The R&D team is the worst, and there is no innovation or growth here. Instead of fostering a supportive and productive work environment, the company is driven by fear, arrogance, and chaos. Would not recommend this company to anyone
