Vantaggi
My favorite part is the people I work with.
They support you very well and are thoughtful. If you've never worked with SAP products and the ABAP language before, there's a significant amount of things to learn just to get started, which can be overwhelming BUT your colleagues support you and are there to help, which makes the learning process work. And they're very fun to be around - they cheer me up, motivate, and inspire me. They're dedicated, smart, competent, and kind so they provide an amazing context to grow professionally and as a person.
They care about work-life balance.
Being asked to work overtime or outside your normal work hours is a very rare occurrence in my experience and always avoided if possible. The overtime that you do add up for yourself is time you can take off when you need to, and they make conscious efforts to not build up too much overtime at a company level. They use a fair salary model so I don't have to worry about fighting for a raise. I like this system very much.
Pleasant work environment:
from the ergonomic equipment to the beautiful office space and the flexibility to work from home when needed. I hear all offices from our different locations are very nice but I especially like mine.
Svantaggi
You must be prepared to learn a lot, not only in the on-boarding process but also as you go. This is not necessarily a con, but it can be overwhelming if you're not prepared for it. Take it more as a heads-up.
