Instead of listing potentially subjective judgment of my time at Roboboogie, I’ll just list actual events that occurred: - New tools/processes researched and pitched to improve Robo’s workflow were not taken seriously and either... 1. “relayed to leadership” and then crickets 2. declared to be too expensive, even if it would have elevated Robo to industry standards 3. or I was told to spearhead implementation on a free trial of the tool, with no adjustment to my other responsibilities - Meanwhile, new tools pitched by Leadership were implemented without soliciting ideas or feedback from the greater team, even if they were more expensive, more difficult to use, and drastically altered established workflows - Leadership actively discouraged former employees from reaching out with better opportunities for their old colleagues (would rather hoard employees and keep you at 70% of industry standard salary than let you move on to something that will actually pay your bills) - Members of Leadership who are bad at their jobs, difficult to work with, or emotionally volatile (in one case costing an IC their job based on hurt feelings) are not reprimanded and instead the organization must learn to work around them and treat them as a “missing stair” - Underachieving industry standards on all fronts: Tools, salary, & severance. I was given three days to negotiate severance instead of the standard 21 - Leadership feedback reviews are not anonymous Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend working at Roboboogie until serious changes are made internally.
