The community and culture is good. Lots of my coworkers have become my closest friends, still even after I left the company. The hardest working individuals in the marketing dept. are the youngest hires. If you have a hardworking, self-starter attitude, and previous marketing and project management experience, you will likely thrive here! The creative team is the strongest department in the office, and the collective experience of the creative team is excellent. You will have a diverse client portfolio to work on, and simply being in proximity to the Production Directors, Creative Directors, and Copywriters, will have you learning so much.

Disorganization on every level. The company seems to constantly be "going through a new restructuring" in order to address the issues, but little seemed to actually change during my time there. It seemed more like a fallback excuse when people began inquiring about their own promotions and performance reviews. Most of marketing and digital directors do not pull their weight, do not adequately lead their teams, and have little care or respect for realistic working deadlines. You'll be lucky to ever receive a project that isn't prefaced with: "This one's a bit of tight deadline". Marketing coordinators and project managers lack of planning and organization, without fail, always land on the creative and production team to "save them", requiring long nights and lots of unpaid overtime. Many people will chuckle and say "that's just part of the industry" but that is an unethical and unhealthy standard that should not be supported. People should be held accountable for their mistakes. People's good work and positive impact should be more highlighted. If you accept a position here, fight for the highest salary possible, as HR and operations will do their very best to never again address your performance, promotions, and career growth. I had to coordinate my own performance reviews, which were always late and getting rescheduled last minute, and when they actually occurred, they were filled with empty promises and meaningless discussions about expectations, needs being met, and goals that were never met. I had to facilitate my own exit interview with HR after I took another job elsewhere, which was also late and ended up being several days after I no longer worked there.
