For those outside Billund, the vaunted "Danish work-life balance" translates into blatant disrespect for those working in other countries. I am regularly called into meetings at 6AM (and it's even worse for people in the US) by Danish coworkers who refuse even to give up their preferred lunch hour. They are rigid in their work patterns while expecting others to blow-up their personal lives to accommodate Danish working hours.
Technical feasibility reviews are also regularly scheduled on non-Danish public holidays despite the fact that 20+ required participants in the UK then have to work on a public holiday
All of this would be galling even if the pay weren't significantly below market
