Risposta di webdew
4yDear webdian
Greetings of the day.
Thank you for sharing the detailed feedback. We are sorry to hear you had a pressing experience, but we really appreciate your thoughts to our attention. Though, we hope that you had shared your thoughts earlier and not enveloped them for more than one year of service that you had at webdew.
Our members work in teams and an amalgamation of teams makes up webdew. We are at peace when you mentioned that your team was nice and the team structure is supportive. It is crucial for any member to have a good team. It is with the team members that our day starts and ends, as we discuss projects/tasks with them, gain from their expertise and experience, seek guidance as we get technically stuck, etc. From daily support of the team to a monthly appreciation of efforts in terms of timely credit of salary, especially after what the industry/market has experienced post-Covid, it assures us that the processes are humanly aligned.
We would like to take this opportunity to talk and investigate your feedback further.
- As the company is transparently vocal about its thoughts and policies, it went way ahead of its peers and published a blog on its website named, why is webdew not for you. Many questioned the name of the blog itself but we stood strong because we at webdew like to stick to our values and thoughts. We put in many thoughtful hours every month on how to enhance and nurture our culture to learn and grow, and we want members who are determined to grow as knowledgeable professionals.
- webdew is 100% operating from home since March 2020 and having the required infrastructure is a responsibility taken by each for himself/herself. We have to maintain due internet facility or needless to say, our work gets hampers.
- Work from home has enlarged the scope of commitment of our Leads to support each and every team member promptly and accurately as the need arises or many a time, doing the needful even before the need arises. Assigning flexible timings to the members puts double pressure on the Leads and the structure which in long term will not suit any.
- The definition/timings of a full day and half-day are well conveyed in our initial documentation and induction sessions. We do not disrespect or ignore the efforts of any member but we value our policies too.
- It is a comfortable 1-hour lunch break that we have to peacefully enjoy a warm home-cooked meal with our family. Members are free to use it as they please. Washroom breaks are a necessity and no one is probed about these as long as you are back in 4-5 minutes.
- Weekly meetings are crucial for all as our structure enables us to have direct interaction with the management and build a beneficial understanding of the vision of the company and also gain updated information regarding the ongoing and future projects. It is a wonderful platform for each to put across their skills and knowledge and is a successful initiative of the company to implement zero tolerance for a biased approach for anyone, to anyone.
- webdew has processes wherein automation is adopted successfully. But enabling a member to draft their daily and weekly report ensures that they understand their performance themselves rather than being spoken out by others.
- Very specifically, regarding the feedback, "....messages like fill this form..." (which was dated 7-Feb-2022), please consider that the HR department was working on its implementation since 09-Nov-2021.
- You have been gracious to share your thoughts and we urge you to share the other "hidden policies" as per you as well so that a proper explanation can be provided to fellow readers.
At webdew, we ensure to have the same set of policies for each member and forever strive to build an ecosystem of responsibility and accountability as each webdian continues to learn, grow and become a better professional.
