Earlier this week, our Aira team headed to the Palace of Westminster to discuss the development and adoption of heat pump technology under a new Labour Government. Aira welcomed a collection of key stakeholders, policymakers, and industry representatives for a breakfast conversation, hosted by Alistair Strathern, to establish a robust policy framework and position the UK as the global leader in heat pump technology. During the event, Aira Group CEO, Martin Lewerth and Aira UK CEO, Daniel Särefjord delivered speeches to welcome guests and introduce our key UK policy asks for 2025, including: 📆 To provide clarity on implementation dates on the planning permission legislation and to continue the removal of unnecessary policy red tape 💰 To address the spark spread – the urgent need to reduce the price of electricity in relation to gas 🚀 To consider leasing models within the BUS grant offering to increase accessibility for people Together, we can create a cleaner, greener and more affordable future for people across the UK and beyond.
Aira at Milan Design Week We are at Milan Design Week until April 21, participating in an exhibition that focuses on Human Technology and how design is developing to best serve the people that use it, as well as the planet.
