English footballer Marcus Rashford is known across Manchester, England not only for being a star Forward, but also a role model and advocate for child hunger. Throughout the pandemic, Rashford advocated for families in need, donated to food banks and charities across the country and inspired AlixPartners' Black Professionals Network (BPN) employee resource group to support Magic Breakfast, a charity that offers healthy breakfasts to children living with food insecurity and helps make Rashford's mission possible. AlixPartners has announced its intended acquisition of management consulting firm Galt & Company, which specializes in helping management achieve and sustain superior growth in shareholder value. Galt & Company has been associated with some of the more notable corporate success stories of the last twenty years. The acquisition, which is expected to close by the end of 2021, subject to regulatory approval, contemplates all Galt & Company team members joining AlixPartners. Together, we will launch a new service offering, Corporate Strategy & Transformation, which will combine Galt & Company’s expertise in financial, strategic, and organizational improvement with AlixPartners’ deep industry and functional subject matter expertise.
