Great to see our Director of Digital and Information, Marina Bellini, highlighting BAT's #DigitalTransformation at the FT Live Global Boardroom. This transformation is key to our #ABetterTomorrow ambition. Marina highlighted the important role that technology is playing in helping people to continue working effectively, observing that it can ‘make possible what was previously impossible’. Marina also noted how the COVID crisis had seen companies such as BAT move more quickly on digital enablement and how she hoped this would continue long into the future.

Today our colleagues in BAT Italy attended a new BAT Agorà session, a format dedicated to the dialogue with external guests on various topics. We had an interesting conversation with Maurizio Cheli, astronaut of the European Space Agency and veteran of a NASA Space Shuttle mission.
