🌟 January Apprentice of the Month 🌟 We’re pleased to celebrate Lauren, Care Assistant at Latham Lodge Nursing & Residential Care Home, as our January Apprentice of the Month Lauren is currently completing her Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship and her tutor was incredibly impressed during a recent observation. When an unexpected fire alarm went off, Lauren remained calm, took the lead to ensure residents and others were safe and once the situation was resolved, made sure everyone was supported and reassured; tea included A wonderful example of calm leadership, compassion and putting people first. Tree Planted To Mark Apprenticeship Achievement of Brooklyn House Senior Carer, Holly We love to celebrate the achievements of our team members and this took on a whole new meaning when Brooklyn House Care Home hosted a very special presentation with training provider, Impact Futures. ‘Roots for Achievers’ is a collaboration between Impact Futures and their sister companies (The Childcare Company and FRFA – First Response First Aid) and Woodland Trust, with its mission to plant one tree for every learner who completes their training in 2025. When Brooklyn House Senior Carer, Holly Jarvis, recently completed her Level 3 apprenticeship in care, it gave Impact Futures the perfect opportunity to bring their Roots for Achievers initiative to life at Caring Homes.
