We’re proud to share that Clarion has been ranked 4th in the UK Social Mobility Employer Index 2025, a rise of more than 120 places in just one year. The Social Mobility Employer Index helps you understand where opportunity is being missed and how to unlock it. It’s not just a ranking, it’s a roadmap. When we act on social mobility, we build stronger, fairer, and more successful organisations and workplaces. This recognition reflects the progress Clarion is making to ensure that where you start in life does not determine how far you can go. Our approach has been shaped by data, insight and collaboration. From capturing and analysing social mobility data across our firm, to reimagining recruitment processes, launching a social mobility working group, and developing work experience and apprenticeship opportunities that open doors into the sector. We know that progress in social mobility isn’t achieved in isolation. It relies on openness, shared learning and partnerships, values we hold at the heart of our culture. A huge thank you to our colleagues, partners and the wider community who continue to drive this work forward every day. Today, we celebrate the progress we’ve made and the difference we’re creating, but tomorrow, it’s back to it. Because this isn’t a project, it’s an ongoing pledge that demands relentless commitment and action.
At Clarion, we know that the moments we share beyond the day-to-day are just as important as the work we do for our clients. This summer has been a season full of connection, celebration, and community, and we’re proud to share some highlights with you. From joining the Leeds Pride parade and hosting our own celebration in the office, to supporting parents and carers through an NSPCC online safety event, to marking our 18th birthday at the summer party, and even getting our hands dirty in the garden at Dixon Trinity Academy, it’s been a summer to remember. This is what life at Clarion looks like when we come together as a team and with our local community.

Welcoming our new Trainees. This September, we’re delighted to welcome nine new trainee solicitors to Clarion, alongside six apprentices who have joined our Costs and Litigation Funding team. It’s fantastic to see so much talent joining us as they take their first steps into the legal profession. We’re excited to support them as they grow, learn and thrive in their careers with Clarion.
