CHR at #NatCon26! Several leaders from CHR were recently in Denver, participating in the annual conference of the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Known as NatCon, the conference brings together policy leaders, experts, and behavioral health advocates each year from across the country to deliver solution-driven workshops and sessions related to mental health and substance use treatment. CHR was honored to attend NatCon again this year and returned feeling inspired!

CHR’s BLACC (Black Leaders at CHR Creating Change) Employee Resource Group hosted its annual Black History Month event at Goodwin University to celebrate 100 years of history, achievements, and milestones. CHR was joined by amazing speakers and storytellers including Andre Keitt, a Connecticut-based storyteller, educator, and cultural interpreter known as the Greatheart Griot, and Jason Williamson Ed. D, a dynamic speaker with expertise in leadership, P.A.C.E. for Success, and effective communication. We were also joined by local businesses including Launch Clothing, Granny's Doggie Treats, and Designs by Jackie.
