Dyson and TTP have worked together to develop an entirely new design of ventilator in record time for the clinical needs of Covid-19 patients. The project has brought together engineers, scientists, medical device designers, clinical testing and high technology manufacturing knowledge, to achieve the NHS specification.
Dyson engineers have been applying their minds to engineer an entirely new ventilator, the CoVent™ which is designed to address the specific clinical needs of Covid-19 patients. The UK Government has placed an order for 10,000 ventilators from Dyson and we’re donating 5,000 units to the international cause – all our effort is focused on manufacturing these as soon as possible. Thanks to our incredible Dyson engineers, and those at TTP plc, who are working around the clock.
