FTI is proud to be a long-time U.S. Air Force mission partner, and we are honored to continue providing our technology-focused expertise in data integration, data management, artificial intelligence/machine learning and other high-impact technical focus areas spanning the aircraft logistics and sustainment enterprise.
Every June, FTI hosts a Step Challenge to raise essential funds for the Alzheimer's Association. We are thrilled to announce that this year, we raised an incredible $156,180.85 to support Alzheimer's research, care, and advocacy. Alzheimer’s disease affects over 60 million Americans and claims more lives than breast and prostate cancer combined. The Alzheimer’s Association is dedicated to providing care and support, advancing research, and finding a cure for this devastating disease. A heartfelt thank you to all our employees who participated in the 2024 Step Challenge. Your dedication made this significant contribution possible. Special congratulations to our top steppers: Adrian Archuleta, Shannon Timan, Greg Weber, Dustin Baker, and Kathryn Hall. Together, we are making a meaningful impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
Congratulations to our President, Jose Hidalgo - plus the entire team helping to make FTI a company to watch! Exciting news for FTI – our teams and our partners. Looking forward to serving the U.S. Space Force from the ground up!
We’re very pleased to recognize our FTI / Visionist / Vigilant cyber teams and their recent accomplishments – bringing their expertise and resilience in facing and overcoming complex cybersecurity challenges in two recent Hack the Box Business Capture the Flag events. These events test a wide range of cybersecurity skills including penetration testing, web application security, cryptography, reverse engineering, forensics and incident response, steganography, networking and infrastructure, exploit development, cloud security, and social engineering. Just last week, the FTI/Vigilant team placed first in the AFCEA-sponsored event at the Maritime IT Summit! Congratulations to the FTI, Visionist, Vigilant teams – and thank you to our hosts at these CTF events!
Our amazing FTI volunteers made a tremendous impact across multiple locations as we wrapped up our May All Be Fed campaign. Volunteer teams in Denver and Colorado Springs served food to those in need. Additionally, one employee and his whole family prepared 85 meals for those in need in North Carolina! These volunteer events mark the conclusion of FTI's May All Be Fed campaign. Thanks to the incredible efforts of our employees, we have raised nearly $50,000 for local food banks and soup kitchens in our communities, along with countless volunteer hours. Thank you to our employees, their families, and friends for making this possible. Your dedication has made a significant impact, improving the lives of many in our communities. What better way to honor FTI's birthday month than by giving back and making a difference this May!
Now available via SaaS or licensing - FTI MERM. MERM (Mission Effectiveness Readiness Management) is a powerful cloud-based software platform that provides the U.S. Navy a bird's-eye view into the health, performance and mission readiness of all systems from individual ships, to ships across the fleet. “Current systems provide limited real-time battle space situational awareness due to lack of visibility into the operating status, performance and mission readiness of ship systems, and laddered up, to the status of the fleet. FTI MERM addresses that challenge by taking in data and outputting insights and visuals that enable the Navy to proactively manage mission readiness.”
FTI is thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our 2024 Summer Interns! This summer, we are excited to have 10 exceptionally skilled interns joining us—eight returning from last year and two new faces we are excited to welcome to the team. Each intern will be contributing their talents to various departments across different FTI sites. We eagerly anticipate witnessing these gifted individuals grow and make their mark on our company. Welcome aboard, everyone!
This past weekend, our amazing FTI volunteers made a tremendous impact across multiple locations as part of our May All Be Fed campaign. At our Beverly, Dayton, and Chesapeake offices, volunteers packed over 350 lunch and snack bags for those in need. In Denver and Saline, our volunteer groups served meals to the hungry, while in Huntsville, teams packed food boxes that will be distributed to low-income areas. Additionally, our Dayton team also prepared breakfast for distribution at a local soup kitchen. Thanks to the incredible efforts of our employees, their friends, and families, we have raised $33,590 for local organizations during May All Be Fed, in addition to all the volunteer hours we’ve provided. Your dedication is making a significant impact and improving the lives of many in our communities. We appreciate your generous donation of time and effort!
Many thanks to the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber for their hospitality at the Best Places to Work luncheon – we were honored to be among the contenders for the awards this year and gratified to see all the great work across industries being done in this area. We continue to want to hire and retain the best talent in the region – and are honored to be a part of the greater Huntsville community.
