Our Walnut Creek Medical Center also received a national ranking in Obstetrics & Gynecology from U.S. News & World Report earlier this year.

We’re proud to share that our Imaging department at the UCSF-John Muir Health Jean and Ken Hofmann Cancer Center is now offering a new type of care for patients with advanced prostate cancer. It’s called radioligand therapy (RLT), a special kind of targeted treatment that finds and attacks cancer cells. This innovative therapy is designed to improve outcomes and enhance quality of life—bringing hope to those who need it most. A huge thank you to our amazing team who made this possible. We’re proud to share that John Muir Health has once again earned re-accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) of the American College of Surgeons! Accreditation by the NAPRC is awarded only to programs dedicated to delivering the highest quality care to patients with rectal cancer. Our Rectal Cancer Program was the very first in the nation to achieve this prestigious accreditation in 2018—and we are honored to have been re-accredited in 2023 and again in 2025.
