On August 1, 1974, a Beechcraft 99 took off from Jamestown, New York. This short flight to Pittsburgh marked the beginning of Chautauqua Airlines and the roots of Republic Airways. NAVBLUE and Republic Airways have successfully launched NAVBLUE’s N-Flight Planning (N-FP) solution, marking the completion of the first phase of the technology collaboration between both companies. After an extensive phase of planning, testing, training and practice sessions, Republic Airways is now using N-FP on its entire fleet of Embraer 170/175 aircraft, which will bring added value to the airline by optimizing for minimum flight time, fuel burn or total cost.
At the 12th annual #RepublicPlanePull, presented by Lucas Oil Products, we pulled together and raised over $750,000 for A Kid Again, Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St Vincent, Indiana Wish and Riley Children's Foundation among other charities whose missions support children.
