What a great way to start a Wednesday. Thanks to Highwoods and 321 Coffee for the morning pick-me-up at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, NC. It was enjoyed by many of our team members! #Coffee #Team #Security #SunstatesSecurity #Raleigh #RaleighBusiness #Community
At Sunstates Security, we offer team members the tools they need to develop their careers. Congratulations to these four exceptional individuals on their recent promotions to supervisor roles! The Houston Region recently promoted two remarkable people. Supervisor Craig Johnston (Bottom Right), since joining Sunstates in March 2023, has proven to be a great officer. He started as a Non-Commission Flex Officer and quickly completed his training to become a Commissioned Flex Officer. His reliability and work ethic led him to a supervisor role in August, where his impressive performance resulted in his assignment to a bigger account a few months later. Supervisor Barbara Jackson (Upper Left) started with Sunstates in October 2022 and has been a loyal and dedicated employee. Barbara transferred to a high-rise post in October 2023, where she impressed the client with her hard work. When the current supervisor was promoted to another site, Barbara advanced to the supervisor role.
Officers in Kingsport, TN, were recognized by Regional Manager Ralph Nemo. This site has received a lot of praise lately from the client. The team shows up ready to work with a positive attitude. It is seen by the client’s staff and the local Sunstates management team. Thanks for your hard work! Account Manager LaTrece McDaniel received a letter of recognition from her assigned Sunstates Security National Account for her outstanding performance in identifying open market theft. AM McDaniel was able to provide footage of an incident, a positive identification of the person of interest, and the dates and times of additional occurrences. Based on the information provided, the Loss Prevention team was able to obtain a confession of an additional ten incidents involving the person of interest. Am McDaniel's actions have not only remedied the actions of the individual but also will serve as a deterrent for similar systematic issues that have been a problem within her assigned facility. In late February, the Orlando region held its quarterly Supervisor Meeting in person, with over 20 individuals attending. Topics discussed were behavioral detection/crime prevention, workers' safety, a new employee feedback program, and other employee perks available to team members. Regional Manager Travis Miller led the event, and some corporate team members were able to attend and present in person, including Corporate Training Director Kristine Correll, Corporate Training Manager Christine Glenn, and Marketing Manager Meredith Rutledge. In addition to attending the meeting, Kristine, Chrissy, and Meredith were able to visit multiple sites and meet with team members. The training department performed QA1A site visits, ensuring team members had everything they needed, such as guard cards and the correct key tiles/airtags. They also reviewed the SOPMs, making sure they were the updated version, and answered any questions the officers had. Our leadership enjoys visiting and meeting individuals who wear the Sunstates uniform and embrace the company's values during their daily tasks.
