Urth Celebrates Earth Day! Earth Day is an annual, worldwide event on April 22 to honor and take care of our planet. It helps to promote healthy, sustainable and regenerative environmental practices. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by Earthday.org. Over a billion people in more than 193 countries participate in the Earth Day celebrations. The official theme for 2025 is “Our Power, Our Planet.”
