William served in the US Marine Corps as a bulk fuel specialist. Now, he brings that invaluable experience to nVent as a fabrication operator for our Systems Protection business segment in Anoka, Minnesota. Our India Technology Center recently celebrated World Environment Day with an impactful series of events. Our Grass Roots Employee Resource Group led these events along with our employees, leadership and sustainability partners. The celebration included an educational session about circular fashion, plantation drive at a primary school, clothing drive and a potted plant gift for employees. Happy World Environment Day!
We recently welcomed more than 30 interns and co-ops to nVent in St. Louis Park and Anoka, Minnesota and Solon, Ohio! Our early career employees launch and grow their careers with velocity. Here we showcase one of our previous co-op program participants, Bobby. He is an applications engineer in our Electrical Connections business segment in Solon, Ohio. His journey with us began in January 2021 while he was still a student. He has excelled in various roles across our rotational program, gaining invaluable experience in applications engineering, manufacturing and customer-facing issues.
