Network Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to develop and implement network strategies across multiple offices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing on-premises and cloud-based servers, workstations, and network devices. This role requires hands-on work with executives and users to meet their IT needs, ensuring the security and efficiency of our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement network strategies for offices
- Work directly with executives, and users to provide comprehensive IT support.
- Manage on-premises and VMware servers (2016, 2019, 2022), workstations (Windows 7, 10, 11), and macOS devices.
- Serve as Azure Administrator for Active Directory, VM servers & desktops, Duo MFA, Virtual Gateways, and Office 365/Exchange.
- Oversee backup administration using Veeam, HBS, and Azure.
- Configure TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and design VLAN routing.
- Manage Cisco, SonicWall, Ubiquiti, and Meraki firewalls, access points, and switches with IPsec LAN/WAN network security.
- Implement and maintain global VPN client connections (PTP).
- Administer Sentinel Endpoint Security, Barracuda, Huntress, and other security tools.
- Manage SAN & NAS data array storage.
- Administer ESET MDR and Endpoint management.
- Provide hardware maintenance and repair.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in network administration and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of server and workstation management, including Windows and macOS.
- Expertise in Azure administration and cloud services.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices and security tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work hands-on with executives and users.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hybrid Exchange 2019/Office 365 environments.
- Familiarity with backup solutions like Veeam and HBS.
- Knowledge of SAN & NAS storage management.
- Experience with ESET MDR and Endpoint management.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, Cisco, VMware) are a plus.
