I had two interviews with the company.
The first was essentially a screening process, but it felt more like a casual conversation about the company and their need for this role to be VERY flexible. The HR representative mentioned that people were leaving because they expected one type of work but ended up doing something entirely different. She seemed to want to be transparent about the situation. Before the interview ended, she advised me to "research" the company to make sure I wanted to proceed further and asked me to send her an email with my decision. It felt odd, almost as if they were acknowledging the bad reviews online and wanted candidates to see them upfront. Instead of addressing internal issues, it seemed like they were just looking for people willing to accept their disorganized environment.
I decided to move forward with the second interview just to see how it would go. Unfortunately, it was with the same HR person, asking the same questions, but her attitude seemed different this time. In hindsight, it felt like a waste of time. I believe I was qualified for the role, but I regret saying yes to that second interview.
