The first stage is a call with a member of the data science team for 30 min to talk about the experience. The second stage is a test assignment. And then the fun began. The test task itself is not very difficult, but it takes a lot of time. On the day of the test assignment, I received a letter stating that the team decided not to move forward. I wrote a letter to HR and he told me it was a mistake. A week passed and there was no response from HR. I wrote if there was any news about my test. HR responded that he will schedule the next steps. Half an hour later, I received an auto-reply rejection email. After 2 days, HR wrote that it was NO from them. No feedback. No call to discuss the test. Nothing. Just wasted time. The recruiter didn't even bother to apologize or provide any details. It is very disappointing to receive a NO in auto-reply email after spending a couple of days on a test assignment.
