Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Amazon nel mese di ago 2011
Colloquio
I applied online and was contacted over the phone before the week was over. This initial contact was also a 30 minute screening interview that consisted of questions about my background and behavioral tests. I was offered an in-person interview.
At the compound, I was given a skills test which consisted of my ability to navigate the internet and Amazon's site. After printing off the test I was able to have my one-on-one.
The HR rep was nice and really sold me on working for Amazon with tales of perks and international travel. I mentioned something in my background and she perked up and I had to make a split second decision whether I should pursue it or not. I told her of an interest and I knew there was an opening in that area available that paid handsomely. Alas, I thought I might look like a flake and told her it's an interest but I'd rather focus on what was before me. She liked my answers to the behavioral questions and it was more than obvious that I got the job based on her reactions and the fact that she recommended me for a better position with higher pay.
A couple of days later I was offered the position over the phone and I accepted.

What would your ex-employers say is your biggest strength / weakness?
Phone screen for about thirty minutes. Asked mostly behavioral questions and situational information. Described the role and gave details on the specifics of the job. Didn't get deep into the experience side but asked general questions about experience and qualifications
Everyone was very nice. It was a three step process but I only made it to the second one because I wasnt really prepared, they made A LOT of behavioral questions which I didnt expected to be honest.
