Brutal. I interviewed with 5-6 people within 6 hours (via video telecon). Some were very nice and other were not. They are brainwashed on their leadership principles. The thing that did it for me was when I asked a question about work-life balance and one of the nicer interviewers shared a story with the moral of if you keep you numbers up, then any balance you strike is fine. However he added that his co-worker was fired because his job performance slipped while his wife was going through chemotherapy. I have heard similar stories about amazon culture. No thanks.
