The hiring process consists of applying, then talking to a recruiter, followed by a phone interview and finally 5 live interviews on Amazon Chime. During this process you have to also provide a writing sample. All of this takes a couple months and uses a lot of your time you could be using to get another job. AWS is a cult and unless you drink the kool-aid from the start and are able to be in one of their diversity groups you won’t be hired as only diverse candidate are welcomed.
