      Colloquio per Member Service Specialist

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 2 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Angi (Indianapolis, IN) nel mese di mag 2015

      Colloquio

I was called roughly a month after I submitted my application. It was a call from a member of Talent Acquisition, which is the company's department of in-house recruiters. We were on the phone for about 30 minutes, and she asked me details about my resume. She was personable and kind, and immediately set up an in-person interview time with me for the next week. The in-person interview consisted of a typing test (I was previously informed of this) and another 30 minute interview with one person. I received an offer contingent on a background check. A week later, I was formally hired. The person that completed my in-person interview ended up as my immediate supervisor. The entire process included detailed email correspondance from Talent Acquisition. I actually applied one time each year for three years to this company. It is notoriously difficult to get an interview, but once you get an interview and show you have the personality that fits with their culture, they will try to find you a position in the company. Knowing someone that currently works there will be a strong card to have in your deck--they are huge on hiring outsiders with an internal connection. The culture here is unique and specific, with major positivity, helpfulness, outgoingness, and a family-like atmosphere. The company is large, but they separate most departments in various buildings on campus, so most people still get that "small company" feel within their immediate environments.

      Domande di colloquio [1]

      Domanda 1

Have you worked in customer service before? How do you feel about interacting with the public over the phone? Why do you want to work here? Tell me about a time when you helped a co-worker that was being treated unfairly. Tell me about a time you went against your supervisor's wishes, because you thought your supervisor was wrong, and it ended up making a positive difference.
