The interview process was well-structured and efficient. It began with an initial recruiter screening focused on background and role alignment, followed by one or two technical interviews assessing problem-solving, domain knowledge, and practical skills. The final round involved a deeper discussion with the hiring team, including behavioral questions and project experience. Communication throughout the process was clear, timelines were reasonable, and interviewers were professional and engaged.

A recruiter call first and then a 45-min HM call from the iPhone team. The HM was very disrespectful to me and kept disrupting me while I was explaining my experience. He kept saying, “explain what you did, not the product itself”. However, how can someone explain some dedicated hardware related work without explaining the background? It’s like explaining how pistons work in engines without explaining what is an engine. And the call only lasted 30 minutes with him interrupted me once again and asked me “Why Apple?” out of nowhere. Very bad experience overall. I was very patient and explaining everything logically throughout the whole process but clearly the HM wasn’t. I got rejected the second day.
