Met initially with the UW assistant manager and the UW supervisor. Most questions were regarding my experience and how it could apply to the position. I would suggest reviewing the company website to have a grasp of Auto Owner's position within the insurance industry. After meeting with the first two interviewers for roughly an hour, I then spoke to the regional VP for another 45 minutes. This portion of the interview revolved around my experience and my perceptions about the insurance industry as a whole. Auto Owners seems like a great company with some very talented personnel working for them. I was most impressed by how many employees stay with the company for an extended period of time. Although I feel that I nailed this interview, the position was ultimately offered to a candidate with prior underwriting experience.

The interview process was pretty standard overall. It was three rounds with three levels of management. There were standard situational and behavioral questions asked. Not to difficult to navigate. Average overall
