Met initially with the UW assistant manager and the UW supervisor. Most questions were regarding my experience and how it could apply to the position. I would suggest reviewing the company website to have a grasp of Auto Owner's position within the insurance industry.
After meeting with the first two interviewers for roughly an hour, I then spoke to the regional VP for another 45 minutes. This portion of the interview revolved around my experience and my perceptions about the insurance industry as a whole.
Auto Owners seems like a great company with some very talented personnel working for them. I was most impressed by how many employees stay with the company for an extended period of time.
Although I feel that I nailed this interview, the position was ultimately offered to a candidate with prior underwriting experience.
