05/15 Applied through linkedin on, 05/16 received 1st phone interview invitation, 05/25 1st interview, scheduled 2nd the same day. 06/05 2nd interview, 06/13 rejected after emailing HR for an update. The 1st interview was only coding problem, very few questions about my resume. The 2nd interview asked a lot about my resume (25 minutes) and only 10 minutes of coding, the very basic two sum and several follow-ups. I thought I did good in the 2nd interview. But after the 2nd interview, no update for one week. Even though during the weekend I wrote an email to the interviewer to explain a question (by doing more simulations and provided data figures) he had about my research. I thought at least he will reply to me because I did extra work to answer his question. The both interviews were good, overall bad.
